Dubai, UAE: JLL, a leading professional services firm that specializes in real estate and investment management, has announced the appointment of Khawar Khan as its new Head of Research for the Middle East, Africa & Turkey region.

Khan replaces Dana Salbak who is staying within the JLL business and moving into a new role as Director, EMEA Living Research & Strategy, based in London.

Khan was previously employed with DP World and prior to that Knight Frank. He joins JLL with a strong track record in delivering research studies for a range of high profile clients in the Middle East.

He is responsible for managing market research and commentary on the region, and will contribute to the firm’s global, best-in-class research publications by developing localised content.

Khan has 13 years of experience covering the built environment across EMEA in various roles, including as a professional economist, researcher and a client-side advisor.

He has an undergraduate degree from the University of Liverpool and a master’s degree from the University College London. He is also a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
