WASHINGTON - The United States welcomes Israel's decision to open the Kerem Shalom border crossing with Gaza for humanitarian aid, White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan said in a statement on Friday after a visit to Israel.
"We welcome this significant step," Sullivan said, adding that he was informed of the decision before departing Israel.
