Airport International Group confirms that between 8 and 22 September, Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) welcomed a total of 17,199 passengers (PAX) on board 123 international commercial passenger aircraft movements (ACM) arriving from 22 destinations and 120 international commercial passenger ACM departing to 23 destinations. 

The flights were  via the following 22 airlines that have recommenced activities at QAIA: Royal Jordanian, Jordan Aviation, Emirates, Turkish Airlines, Qatar Airways, Fly Jordan, Fly Dubai, Etihad Airways, Kuwait Airways, Air Cairo, Air Arabia, FlyEgypt, Yemenia Airways, Austrian Airlines, Syrian Airlines, Pegasus Airlines, flynas, Jazeera Airways, Iraqi Airways, Ryanair, EgyptAir and Arab Wings.

The first two weeks of international commercial flights resumption recorded significantly lower PAX and international commercial passenger ACM figures compared with the same period in 2019, when 365,451 PAX and 3,243 ACM travelled through QAIA, demonstrating steep declines of 95.29% and 92.51%, respectively.
