Dubai, UAE: Azizi Developments, a leading private developer in the UAE, has announced the signing of a AED-23-million contract with MAC Electromechanical Engineering Contracting LLC, one of the most reputable mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) companies in the UAE.
Under the new partnership, MAC will be handling the engineering, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and handing over of MEP works for three of the buildings in the third phase of Riviera, Azizi’s French Mediterranean-inspired residential and commercial community in one of the most sought-after destinations in Dubai – MBR City.
Mohamed Ragheb Hussein, Chief Development Officer at Azizi Developments, said: “Our team works tirelessly to analyse all possible supplier options in the market and to only bring on board the absolute best-in-class. The signing with MAC Electromechanical Engineering Contracting is a reflection of our unremitting efforts in customer-centricity and offering properties of high quality that are sure to yield outstanding ROIs. MAC’s expertise, coupled with Azizi Developments’ vision, is sure to enhance the lives of those residing in our pride and joy – Riviera in MBR City.”
MAC Electromechanical Engineering Contracting’s portfolio comprises some of the most renowned projects in the UAE. Over the last 13 years, MAC grew from a small company into a recognised leader in its field with a commitment to delivering the highest-quality work. MAC has worked with some of the biggest names in the UAE, including wasl, DAMAC, Meraas, Majid Al Futtaim, RTA, Danube, Al Ghurair Group, Ellington, and Jumierah Golf Estate.
Riviera, a stylish waterfront-lifestyle destination located in the heart of MBR City, is planned to comprise 71 mid-rise buildings with approximately 16,000 residences upon its completion that are conveniently located in the midst of all the business, leisure and retail hubs of the city.
Designed to introduce the French-Mediterranean lifestyle to Dubai, which is not merely about architectural art but also about a certain ‘joie de vivre’ — a celebration of life, an exultation of spirit, Riviera represents a new landmark destination that is both residential and commercial, with an abundance of retail space. Riviera features three districts: an extensive retail boulevard, the lagoon walk with artisan eateries and boutiques, and Les Jardins — a vast, lush-green social space.
In June, Azizi Developments had announced the addition of a 2.7 km-long crystal lagoon to Riviera, covering an area of over 130,026 square metres that will stretch across the entirety of the community. With stunning blue flooring, filled with more than 51.5 million gallons of crystal-clear, desalinated and clean water that residents can swim in, and easily accessible via its lagoon walk — which will also feature a vast variety of artisan eateries and boutiques — Azizi’s lagoon will be a bustling space where residents can enjoy strolls along the beach-like shores, sunbathe and cool off.
With its strategic location near the upcoming Meydan One Mall and the Meydan Racecourse — home of the Dubai World Cup — as well as Dubai’s most noteworthy points of interest, Riviera represents one of Azizi Developments’ most coveted projects.
