• The St. Regis Riyadh and The Jeddah EDITION are anticipated to open in prime city locations 

SAUDI ARABIA: Marriott International, Inc. today announced it has signed an agreement with Sela Sport Company to develop two new luxury hotels in Saudi Arabia. Slated to open in 2022, The St. Regis Riyadh will be located at the entrance of the Diplomatic Quarter, close to the city’s embassies and central business district. Also expected to open in 2022, The Jeddah EDITION will be situated on the corniche of Jeddah and close to the new Jeddah Corniche Circuit.

While The Jeddah EDITION will be perfectly located in the Jeddah Yacht Club and Marina, Jeddah’s most anticipated destination and will be part of the city’s vibrant celebrations and events during Jeddah Season.”

The St. Regis Riyadh

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is renowned for delivering exquisite experiences at the best addresses around the world. The St. Regis Riyadh is expected to feature 83 guestrooms including 23 suites, along with two signature restaurants, an outdoor pool, fitness center and spa. Expected to open in 2022, The St. Regis Riyadh will feature the brand’s signature hallmarks and traditions, including its bespoke Butler service and avant-garde style. The property will be a key part of ‘Via Riyadh’, a luxury mixed-use development with retail and entertainment outlets, located in the main zone of the Riyadh Season.

The Jeddah EDITION

Unexpected and individualised, each EDITION property is completely unique and reflects the culture and social milieu of its location. Expected to open in 2022 with 63 guestrooms, The Jeddah EDITION will be situated in the new Jeddah Yacht Club & Marina and located on the edge of the Jeddah Corniche Circuit. The soon to open hotel is expected to feature a signature restaurant, lounge bar, rooftop bar, penthouse terrace, spa, fitness center, and an indoor and an outdoor pool. EDITION Hotels is the collaboration between hotel visionary and cultural icon, Ian Schrager and Marriott International.

The Jeddah EDITION and The St. Regis Riyadh are expected to further enhance Marriott International’s footprint across the Kingdom where it currently has a portfolio of over 30 properties with more than 9,000 rooms across ten of its brands.
