Dubai, 16 December 2013: Rosamund (Ros) Marshall takes up the position of CEO of Taaleem as outgoing CEO, Ziad Azzam, assumes a non-executive role within the company

Ros stepped into the role of Taaleem's CEO in the first week of November 2013. Ziad Azzam announced on his successor's appointment, "I am confident that Ros's appointment will pave the way for the next exciting phase of Taaleem's development. Ros has a proven track record with over thirty years of management experience in education-based businesses".

Ros's formative training and management experience was gained through twenty-five years with the global leader in international support services, Sodexo. After this, Ros was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Nord Anglia Education PLC, UK. Her last post was in the UK as CEO of kidsunlimited™.

Ros remarked, "I could not have joined the Company at a more exciting point in time with the recent announcement of the winning of the EXPO 2020 bid.
Ziad Azzam, along with his visionary fellow founders of Taaleem has, over the last decade, built a company that has aligned their aspirations with those of the nation. Taaleem has grown over the last decade to become the second largest provider of private K-12 education in the UAE".
