Muscat: Oman has been ranked 1st globally in the duration of the stay of ships in the ports.
A statement issued online by Oman Customs said: "Oman ranks first in the world in the duration of the stay of ships in the ports. The United Nations Maritime Trade Report 2020 highlighted Oman as a model for the distinct interaction with the pandemic by facilitating maritime trade and transforming cargo clearance into electronic transactions."
