Indian engineering conglomerate Larsen & Toubro (L&T) announced on Thursday that it has been awarded two transmission line projects in Saudi Arabia.

L&T said in a press statement that its Power Transmission & Distribution business has won two Transmission Line packages involving Design, Procurement and Construction of 380kV

Double Circuit Overhead Transmission Line Corridors for a length of more than 650 kilometres.

The contract values and client details weren't disclosed.

The statement said the two lines are expected to strengthen the grid in the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia and facilitate power evacuation.
