The Crown Prince and Prime Minister has pledged to strengthen Bahrain’s fruitful partnership with Saudi Arabia.

He noted the depth of long-standing strategic relations between the kingdoms, which continue to receive the support of His Majesty King Hamad and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, was speaking as he yesterday met Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in Riyadh.

HRH Prince Salman praised Saudi’s strategic role in furthering regional development and strengthening the global economy.

He said the ambitious environmental goals and new avenues of co-operation that have resulted from the fifth edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) and the Middle East Green Initiative Summit are testament to the success of both events.

The importance of creating a unified and co-ordinated response to preserve the natural environment and address the challenges of the climate emergency while ensuring a sustainable economic recovery was discussed.

The topics of both the FII and the Middle East Green Initiative Summit were also reviewed.

HRH Prince Salman commended the initiatives launched by Prince Mohammed bin Salman at the Middle East Green Initiative and noted that they will contribute towards achieving climate security and a sustainable future.

He said the FII will expand investment co-operation and stressed Bahrain’s commitment to develop the fruitful partnership that exists between the kingdoms. He commended Saudi Arabia’s role as a leader of the Arab world and its contribution to upholding regional and global stability.

Prince Mohammed bin Salman praised HRH Prince Salman’s continued support of long-standing Bahraini-Saudi relations, wishing the kingdom further progress and prosperity.

Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and private secretary to the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Shaikh Abdulla bin Isa Al Khalifa were present.

HRH Prince Salman later left Saudi Arabia.
