Dubai: Cricket School of Excellence (CSE) Dubai, equipped with the most modern software for performance analysis, flew out to England to play seven games against premier clubs in Middlesex. The software used by Indian national team analyst Subramaniam Ramakrishnan, known as Ramky, has been obtained through a tie-up.

Speaking to Gulf News before departure, Obaid Hameed, head coach of the CSE said: “The software used by Ramky was provided to us in an attempt to start a new partnership with Sports Mechanics PLC. We are travelling with a big support staff that includes performance analyst who will work closely with players to rectify technical issues via video feedback. Sports Mechanics were the first company in the world to introduce revolutionary systems like match coding and data conversion systems, online mentoring and remote coaching tools, all-round athlete management system and the world’s first real-time decision support system for T20 Cricket.

CSE will be playing three Twenty20 matches, three 50-over fixtures and two-day games in Twickenham. Coach Hameed (25) is one of the youngest UKCC Level 2 Coaches having played as an overseas player/coach in the UK for the past three years. He had made his mark through a creditable performance for the UAE Under-15 team in 2005 and went on to play for UAE’s Under-17 and Under-19 teams in the same year and then signed up to play for Stirling County team in Scotland. Orient Energy are sponsors of the team’s tour of UK.

“We want to provide a great experience for these young lads contributing towards their overall game and holistic development. We follow a system of each individual cricketers performances being uploaded on the CSE website to be viewed at any time, anywhere” said Hameed.
