Riyadh –Seera Group Holding incurred net losses after Zakat and tax worth SAR 72 million during the third quarter (Q3) of 2021, posting a year-on-year (YoY) decrease of 60% from SAR 180 million.

The company attributes the lower losses in Q3-21 versus the same quarter last year to a surge of 112% in gross booking value that was backed by a “strong summer travel season,” Seera said in a bourse filing on Wednesday.

Revenues soared by 159.8% YoY to SAR 369 million in Q3-21 from SAR 142 million.

During the first nine months of 2021, Seera turned to losses standing at SAR 302 million against profits worth SAR 760 million in the same period last year.

The loss per shares was SAR 1 at the end of September this year, versus earnings per share of SAR 2.55 in the corresponding period in 2020.

Revenues meanwhile increased by 24% YoY to SAR 841 million in January-September 2021 from SAR 677 million.
