The UAE's only online accredited school braces to support schools and parents during the month long closure

Dubai, UAE— As schools and parents across the UAE brace for a different reality over the next four weeks, the UAE’s only online accredited school, iCademy Middle East is prepped and ready to offer its support across the emirates. The resulting school closures across the UAE as a result of measures to contain Covid-19 have forced schools down a path that is unfamiliar to many, especially parents. Schools across the emirates are turning their hand to digital learning and searching for ways to support children during the announced four week closure. Parents unfortunately, many whom are working, are left with few options when it comes to childcare and the supervision of their child’s education.

iCademy Middle East, in operation for the past 13 years out of Dubai has established itself as the region’s only, genuine online learning solution that awards US diplomas. The school is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), meeting the highest standards in educational management and accountability. The online program enables children to follow the curriculum from anywhere in the region, access course materials and online teacher support from anywhere. It offers a blended learning environment to students in lower, middle, and high school with a team of committed teachers, counsellors, and academic coaches. For many schools, online and blended learning has not been a priority but because of the current situation, it is now the only priority. Although there are many different learning platforms out there, and many resources online, very few can claim that their solution awards certificates and a genuine university pathway.

The university destinations of iCademy students is a testament to the programs on offer and the quality of the preparation for higher education. US universities such as Duke, Harvard, New York University, UCLA and Washington State to name just a few, have all welcomed iCademy students.
