Cairo, Egypt: Cequens, the regional Communication Platform as a Service (CPaaS) provider, is pleased to announce the appointment of Wael Ali as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), effective immediately.

Ali will lead and drive all aspects of sales and marketing across the six regional offices, in addition to the channel and alliance strategies globally to meet Cequens ambitious global expansion plans.  

Ali joins Cequens with a wealth of experience from the telecommunications and service industry and comes to Cequens with extensive strategic coordination and business development strategy capabilities. Ali's successful 20+ year record in Vodafone, Raya, and LinkdotNet, across MENA, Europe, and APAC region, will be an invaluable asset to Cequens.

Prior to joining Cequens, Ali was the Global Head of Enterprise Commercial and Operations at Vodafone Shared Services, overseeing the commercial operations of Egypt, Hungary, and India. Throughout his 13+ years career at Vodafone, he's held and managed various departments and teams, including Service Marketing & Business Development, Design and Transition, Enterprise Services, Global Enterprise Operations and Delivery, among many others.
