Dubai: The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) will be the exclusive provider of professional examinations to the Financial Academy for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)’s students for the next three years.
The agreement was signed by Sian Fisher, CEO of the Chartered Insurance Institute, and Mana Al Khamsan, Director General of the Financial Academy and will see the CII’s examinations provided across a range of locations in KSA, including Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Abha.
The Chartered Insurance Institute is the professional body dedicated to building trust in the insurance and financial planning profession. The organisation exists to drive confidence in the power of professional standards; competence, integrity and care for the customer. The CII boasts 127,000 members across the globe, committed to high professional standards by maintaining continuous professional development and abiding by the CII’s Code of Ethics. The Chartered Insurance Institute is a member of the Chartered Body Alliance and the Institute for Global Insurance Education and is headquartered in the UK, with a Middle East office located in Dubai.
The Financial Academy, KSA, was established in line with the country’s Vision 2030 and the Financial Sector Development Program aspirations and objectives, to provide a variety of learning and development solutions that equip banking and finance practitioners, from entry level to senior level, with the relevant knowledge and skills to improve performance and deepen capabilities. The Financial Academy aims to provide best-in-class professional development opportunities for the Saudi market. The Academy partners with a large array of providers serving complementary purposes, including qualifications provision, training content and delivery, and quality assurance and recognition. The Academy benefits from local, regional and international partners to better serve present and future needs.
