SINGAPORE- Middle East crude benchmarks Oman and Dubai edged lower on Monday as market participants waited for the release of fresh official selling prices (OSPs).

ONGC offered a cargo of Russian Sokol crude, loading on Dec. 3-9, via a spot tender closing on Thursday with same day validity.

 

ASIA-PACIFIC CRUDE:

Three cargoes of Australia's North West Shelf (NWS) condensate are scheduled to load in December, down from the previous month, a preliminary loading programme showed.

Saudi Arabia shipped 6.1 million barrels per day (bpd) of crude oil in September, slightly above August levels, and kept output steady at 8.974 million bpd last month, an industry source familiar with the matter said on Monday. 

Energy major Equinor shut four of its Norwegian offshore oil and gas fields on Monday as its workers expanded their strike, a company spokesman told Reuters.

Libyan oil production has risen by about 20,000 barrels per day (bpd) from last week to reach 290,000 bpd as exports ramp up, a Libyan oil source told Reuters on Monday on condition of anonymity. 

The Nigerian unit of oil major Chevron plans to cut its local workforce by 25% to reduce costs, it said on Saturday, due to weak demand for oil in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
