FRANKFURT- The head of Germany's financial watchdog on Thursday called the accounting scandal at collapsed Wirecard "a massive criminal act".

"It is plain vanilla, old-fashioned criminal behaviour," BaFin president Felix Hufeld said in an online panel discussion.
