Bahrain has been ranked 41st in the world and fourth in the GCC and Arab region on The Global Talent Competitiveness Index (GTCI-2020), totalling 50.35 points.

The Business School for the World (INSEAD) released the index ranking in co-operation with the search engine Google and the Adecco Group, assessing 132 countries worldwide.

The seventh edition (GTCI–2020) explores how the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is changing the nature of work and forcing a re-evaluation of workplace practices, corporate structures and innovation ecosystems.

Bahrain is ranked 34th on the Enable Index (61.54 points), 17th on the Attract Index (69.33 points), 50th on the Grow Index (43.05 points), and 45th on the Retain Index (58.6 points), 46th on the Vocational and Technical Skills Index (50.46 points), and 86th on the Global Knowledge Skills (19.09 points).

The UAE topped the Arab region and ranked 22nd worldwide.
