MANAMA: Solidarity Bahrain, one of the largest insurance companies in Bahrain, has launched its Artificial Intelligence-powered chatbot on its WhatsApp Business platform to enable interactive conversations and accelerate the process of servicing customers.

This is in line with its extensive endeavours to deliver a consolidated and unified digital customer experience, a statement from the firm said yesterday.

The consecutive achievements of Solidarity Bahrain, guided by its digital transformation strategy, affirms its unwavering commitment to provide uninterrupted support to its customers and clients through a series of digital initiatives. Solidarity Bahrain eagerly continues to pioneer digital initiatives in the insurance industry, developed and built entirely by its young Bahraini IT team, it said.

The chatbot is available for Solidarity Bahrain customers offering prompt and automated digital services such as issuance of new insurance, policy renewal, claim registration, obtaining policy documents, placing a video insurance call with an agent, finding branch timings and locating the nearest branch by sharing the current location.

Solidarity Bahrain chief executive Jawad Mohamed said: “We are pleased to launch our AI chatbot on Solidarity’s WhatsApp service. This new offering will complement our existing digital channels and demonstrates Solidarity Bahrain’s leadership in innovation in insurance services.”

The WhatsApp chat services is simple, convenient, secure with 24/7 availability and can be accessed using Solidarity’s WhatsApp number on 17130000.
