Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt is currently setting up seven bridges on River Nile with a cost of EGP 9.485 billion in Upper Egypt region, Akhbar El-Yom reported, citing the country’s minister of transport Kamel El-Wazir as saying.

With length of about 25 kilometres, such bridges will connect the east and west banks of the Nile as part of the government’s efforts to develop the Upper Egypt region, El-Wazir added.

This came during the minister’s meeting with the board members of the European Bank for Construction and Development (EBRD) to discuss the current investment opportunities.
