Riyadh – Mubasher: Critical industries such as power generation, energy sources, aviation, and banking services should have the resilience to face potential cyberattacks, according to Amin Nasser, CEO of the Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco).

An attack on Aramco in 2012 did not affect the oil company, thanks to the efforts of its emergency unit, the CEO said during his remarks to the Global Cybersecurity Forum (GCF), which opened earlier today in Riyadh.

The CEO noted that the fourth industrial revolution allows new opportunities to enhance cybersecurity, especially since 75 million were subject to cyberattacks over the past five years.
