Spain's seasonally- and calendar-adjusted industrial output fell 0.2% in December from the same month a year earlier, official data from the country's national statistics institute (INE) showed on Wednesday.
The contraction is in line with what analysts polled by Reuters expected.
INE revised up the year-on-year figure for the month of November to 0.9% expansion from an original 0.8% expansion.
For the whole of 2023, the industrial output fell 0.8%, INE said. (Reporting by Maria Luiza Amaral, editing by Inti Landauro)
