Ireland's annual consumer price index (CPI) slowed last month to 2.6% from 2.9% in March, Central Statistics Office data showed on Thursday.
Inflation as measured by the Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP), which strips out mortgage interest costs, slowed to 1.6%. (Reporting by Graham Fahy; Editing by Toby Chopra)
