The International Monetary Fund on Thursday raised its forecast for this year's Spanish economic growth to 2.4% from 1.9% projected previously on the back of firmer domestic demand.
"Private consumption is expected to strengthen as the household saving rate normalises gradually and real wage income continues to increase steadily," the IMF said in a report released on Thursday.
