LONDON - Former prime minister Boris Johnson on Wednesday said Britain must not falter in its net zero ambitions and businesses must have certainty on climate policy, amid reports the government was planning to reset some climate pledges.

"It is crucial that we give those businesses confidence that government is still committed to Net Zero and can see the way ahead," he said, in remarks reported by the Times newspaper and other local media.

"We cannot afford to falter now or in any way lose our ambition for this country."
