Bahrain witnessed stable weather during the past few days with light and variable winds and about monthly average temperatures. The Meteorological Directorate at the Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry forecasts southeasterly winds, with speed ranging from moderate to active to strong tomorrow and Thursday, turning active northwesterly later on Thursday and becoming strong during the next two days, accompanied by a relative drop in temperature, especially during the night and early morning.
Weather maps also indicate that the Arabian Peninsula and Arabian Gulf will be affected by a state of atmospheric instability during the coming days, as a deep depression is expected to affect the north and centre of the peninsula, with cumulative rain clouds likely to be interspersed with thunder in some areas.
The depression is expected to affect Bahrain and neighbouring regions with the weather becoming cloudy tomorrow, and chances of sporadic rain on Thursday and Friday. The Meteorological Directorate urged citizens, especially sea-goers, to exercise caution and advised them to follow the official bulletins through official channels.
