The UAE President, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has issued an Emiri decree appointing Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed as Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.
Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed is the eldest son of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed.
Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed and Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed have been appointed as Deputy Rulers of Abu Dhabi, state news agency WAM reported.
Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan is the son of the founder of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and serves as the National Security Advisor of UAE. He is the chairman of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), one of the world's largest sovereign wealth funds. He is also the chairman of the emirate's third largest state fund, ADQ.
The President of the UAE, has also issued resolutions, with the approval of the UAE Federal Supreme Council, to appoint Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE and Minister of Presidential Court, as UAE Vice President, alongside Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan is the brother of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed. The billionaire businessman is the owner of Manchester City football club. He is also the chairman of Mubadala, Abu Dhabi's second biggest sovereign wealth fund.
