Saudi Arabia-based quick commerce (Q-commerce) startup Ninja has closed a pre-seed round led by Bunat Ventures, according to a press release.

A number of venture capital (VC) firms from the region, the USA, and family offices in the Kingdom also participated in the funding round.

Established four months ago by Saud Al Qahtani and Canberk Donmez, Ninja is a tech startup that provides users with access to thousands of items, including grocery, pet food, skincare and beauty products, as well as supplements. It delivers the items within 25 minutes from its network of dark stores.

Meanwhile, the startup runs its business in Jeddah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province of the Kingdom.

Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Bunat Ventures, Chadi Hajjar, said: “The innovation ecosystem of our region and Saudi specifically is healthily growing.”
