The Ministry of Health will continue its efforts to import medicines and medical supplies to secure the strategic pharmaceutical stockpile and ensure that patients receive their medicines regularly, reports Al-Qabas daily.
The sources told the daily the ministry has obtained approvals to purchase injections for diabetic patients, at a cost of 3.8 million dinars, and to purchase “syringes” for cancer patients at a cost of 768,000 dinars, in addition to supplying “sprays” for respiratory patients at approximately 1.5 million dinars. The sources added to Al- Qabas that the ministry is in the process of importing “injections” as antibiotics for 275,000 dinars.
