Israel's foreign minister on Monday said the move by the International Criminal Court (ICC) to seek arrest warrants for Israel's prime minister and defence minister was "scandalous" and tantamount to attacking the victims of Oct. 7.

Foreign minister Israel Katz said he had opened a special war room to counteract the ICC's move, adding no force in the world will prevent Israel from bringing back its hostages from Gaza and toppling the Palestinian militant group Hamas.
