RIYADH — Aqeel Al-Aqeel, weather analyst at the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), said that the rate of precipitation during the holy month of Ramadan would be higher in most regions of Saudi Arabia.

Speaking to Al-Ekhbariya, Al-Aqeel said that the weather conditions in the beginning of Ramdan would be moderate in the northern, eastern and central regions of Saudi Arabia.

The holy month of Ramadan this year coincides with the spring season, thus the rate of precipitation will increase, and temperatures will also increase by one degree Celsius, and will be higher by one and a half degrees Celsius in the regions of Tabuk, Al-Jouf and Hail.

Al-Aqeel said that the maximum temperatures would rise at the end of Ramadan in the Makkah region and its coasts, noting that NCM will issue a detailed report on weather conditions before Ramadan.
