The South Korean won currency erased early losses to turn higher against the dollar on Monday, tracking sharp gains in the Japanese yen.
The won strengthened to as high as 1,374.3 against the dollar during afternoon trade, up 0.75% from its session low of 1,384.6 and compared with the previous session's close at 1,375.3. (Reporting by Jihoon Lee Editing by Ed Davies)
