Countermeasures by the Philippines to China's conduct in the South China Sea will entail strengthening its defence capabilities and exhausting diplomatic measures to resolve the issue, a top security official said on Monday.
Spokesperson of the national security council Jonathan Malaya in an interview with state TV said the countermeasures announced by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr last week were multi-dimensional. (Reporting by Karen Lema; Editing by Martin Petty)
