Japanese video game firm Nintendo said on Wednesday it had sold 10 million copies in three days of its latest release, "Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom".

The company wrote on Twitter that the figures made it "the fastest-selling game in the history of The Legend of Zelda series", which began in 1986.
