Sudan's army chief Abdel Fattah al-Burhan was in Juba on Monday for talks with South Sudan's President Salva Kiir on the conflict raging in his home country, a statement from the presidency said.

It was Burhan's second trip abroad since the violence erupted in Sudan in April, following a visit to Cairo last week.
