Ghana's consumer inflation slowed to 23.1% year on year in May from 25% in April, the statistics service said on Wednesday.

The cocoa-, gold- and oil-producing West African country is battling to emerge from an economic crisis. It is restructuring its debts, supported by a $3 billion loan programme from the International Monetary Fund.
