Foreign direct investment (FDI) in the Sultanate of Oman rose to OMR16.330 billion at the end of second quarter of 2021, compared to OMR 15.7 billion for the same period in 2020.

The report on the performance of foreign direct investment issued by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI), showed that the United Kingdom ranked first in the volume of FDIs at the end of the second quarter of 2021, at OMR8.291 billion.

 

Data from the NCSI showed that FDI in oil and gas activity accounted for OMR10.985 billion.
