Saudi Water Partnership Company (SWPC), the main off-taker for independent water and water projects in Saudi Arabia, has announced Request for Qualification (RFQ) for the implementation of Outfall Pipeline for Dammam West Independent Sewage Treatment Plant (ISTP).
 
The RFQ was issued on 8 August 2021 to the 26 companies that had expressed their interest in the project, according to a statement posted on SWPC's website. The EOI invite was issued on 26 June.

In June, Zawya Projects had reported that the 29-kilometre-long outfall pipeline, with a carrying capacity of up to 350,000 cubic metres per day, would be procured as an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract.
