Saudi Arabia’s National Housing Company (NHC) said last week that it has increased the share of local content in its procurement to 81 percent in terms of labour, goods, services and technology. NHC said that it has mandated local content requirements for all its residential projects. 

NHC is the investment arm of the Ministry of Housing set up to implement the ministry’s affordable housing programme for Saudi nationals.
