UK-based global energy services company Penspen said on Monday that it has secured a four-year contract to provide the procurement and construction of flowlines and wellhead installations for 51 wells in ADNOC Onshore’s oilfields at Shah, Qusahwira and Mender in Abu Dhabi.

The contract awarded by the project's engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor Galfar Engineering & Contracting Emirates, Penspen said in a press statement.

The scope of the project, according to the statement, is to increase the crude oil production from the subject fields whilst ensuring timely delivery of multiple type of wells in task order.

Penspen will provide the design and detailed engineering of different types of wells, including gas lift, water alternating gas (WAG), electrical submersible pump (ESP), water injection and water disposal wells, and support Galfar with project delivery to ensure completion by June 2025.

Mohamed Elwakeel, Penspen’s Regional Sales and Marketing Director for the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific Regions, said: “The latest contract award is another endorsement of the long track record Penspen has had in the Middle East. This year marks 60 years since our first office opened in the Middle East, and we are delighted to be continuing to work with key local partners such as Galfar Emirates and ADNOC Onshore.

The contract value wasn't disclosed.

The announcement of the Abu Dhabi contract follows award of 10-month engineering contract by Petrozim Line to Pensepn deliver a next-generation engineering project for the Feruka-Harare pipeline in Zimbabwe.
