Infinity Tower, Egypt’s second tallest skyscraper, would be completed in three phases by the end of 2024, the managing director of Salama Structural Engineers (SSE) said.
SSE’s Dubai office is the structural consultant for the 200-metre-tall office building located in the Central Business District (CBD) of New Administrative Capital (NAC) and 300 metres away from Iconic Tower, Egypt’s tallest building at 387 metres.
SSE’s managing director Assaad Salama said construction of Infinity Tower started in 2020.
“The project is being developed in three phases and is scheduled for completion by end-2024 with total investments of 1.7 billion Egyptian pounds ($108 million),” he said in an interview with Zawya Projects.

Salama, who also wears the hat of Managing Partner, Infinity Towers for Urban Development, the project’s developer, said Egypt’s and the African continent’s tallest office tower could transform the local construction industry similar to how Emirates South Tower and Burj Khalifa changed the UAE construction industry.
“This project will reshape the local real estate construction market by offering the latest construction engineering technology in the world, which successfully combines art and science,” he said, adding that the tower is being built with the highest grade and strength of steel and concrete along with Class-A office building specifications, a first for Egypt.
The 40-storey building will house offices and shops with a 1,560 square metre floor plate with column-less open floor plan, 4.5 metre slab-to-slab floor ceiling height, five levels of underground parking with 800 parking slots, 14 high-speed elevators, and two fire elevators.
“Infinity Tower will have a wide range of facilities that include a bank, car showroom, gym and spa, convenience stores, pharmacy, cafes, restaurants, department store, and a nursery,” said Salama.
He said the project brings the expertise of world-class consultants specialised in high-rise office towers to Egypt, including NORR Group Dubai as the project architect, Design Confidence Dubai as Fire and Life Safety Consultant, and AESG Dubai as a Sustainability Consultant.
Salam added that he had brought his 40 years plus engineering consultancy experience for 125 different projects ranging from high-rise buildings and mega structural steel projects in the Middle East cities to his role as Managing Partner of Infinity Towers for Urban Development.
“Infinity Tower is aligned with the Egyptian government’s efforts to develop the country’s infrastructure and will contribute to the country’s 2030 vision as a one-of-a-kind concept that will take A-class business towers to another level,” he concluded.
