Egypt’s Rovan Urban Development (RUD) plans to start construction of its 350 million Egyptian pound ($22 million) Evora New Capital project by the second quarter of 2022, the company Chairman said.

Mohamed Nasr Madinah told Zawya Projects that the commercial project, spread over an area of 2,600 square metres in the downtown area of New Administrative Capital (NAC), will house offices, shops and clinics.

He said: “We plan to start construction of Evora in the next six months. We have contracted with a number of major consulting companies in Egypt and the Arab region led by MRB Project Management, Archrete Designs and Etqan Business Development for the project, our first in the NAC.”

He added that the 12-storey project would be completed in three phases.
