Dubai developer Sobha Realty announced on Monday that it will hand over 1,337 units at its flagship master development Sobha Hartland in Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum City in in 2021.

Expected handovers include villas within Hartland Estates, and units in Greens Phase III and Sobha Creek Vistas, the developer said in a press statement.

The total built-up area scheduled for handover is over 2 million square feet (sq ft), the statement said.

Jyotsna Hegde, President of Sobha Realty, said the company's targets for 2021 remain optimistic despite the challenges that 2020 presented for the real estate industry and other economic sectors.

"We are confident that through our backward integrated model that allows complete control of the construction process, and the fact that we continued on track with our construction schedule last year, that we would be able to complete the planned handovers," she said.

Sobha Hartland is an eight million sq ft luxury freehold master development situated in Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum City, overlooking Downtown Dubai.
