Muscat: With a cost of more than OMR 9 million, Muscat Electricity Distribution Company (MEDC) has signed an agreement with Tawoos Company to replace the old electricity meters with smart meters.
MEDC said in a statement that with a cost of more than OMR 9 million, Muscat Electricity Distribution Company and the Tawoos Industrial Services Company signed a contract to replace the old electricity meters with smart meters that can read the electricity consumption of the subscriber from a distance."
