Oman's Ministry of Transportation and Communication (MoTC) has received 10 bids for providing master planning, concept design and construction supervision consultancy services for two tourist harbours in Oman.
Renardet SA and Partners Consulting Engineering submitted the lowest bid for 1.3 million Omani Riyals ($3.36 million) while Khatib Alami and Partners quoted the highest at 2.795 million Omani Riyals ($7.27million), according to the Oman Tender Board.
Other bidders in the fray include Ibn Khaldun Al Madaen Engineering Consultants, Rina International Engineering Consultancy, Associated Consulting Engineers International, National Engineering Office, F&M Middle East Engineering Consultancy, Dar Al-Handasah, Al Manarah Engineering Consultancy and SSH International.
In May 2019, Thomson Reuters Projects had reported the MoTC had floated an international consultancy tender for designing two tourist harbours in Dibba and Bukha in the Musandam governorate.
