Muscat Electricity Distribution Company (MEDC) has completed the rehabilitation of its low-voltage electrical network in some villages of the Wilayat of Muttrah.

Eng Mazin bin Ali al Salmani , Senior Manager of Operation and Maintenance of the company, stated that this step comes within the framework of continuous improvement of the electrical network and the provision of safety standards for public, since it was an old network system and was not in compliance with the safety requirements.

Al Salmani added that MEDC continues to evaluate the electrical network on a regular basis, confirming its continuous endeavour to develop the electrical distribution networks for the purpose of enhancing the service reliability, and delivering it to all customers in a safe manner, in accordance with Omani Electrical Standards.
