Southern Province Cement Company said on Tuesday that it has completed the study of technical and financial offers for engineering, procurement and construction of a new 10,000 tonnes per day production line at its Jazan cement factory.
Work is underway to draft and review the contract, the company said in a statement to the Saudi stock exchange.
The contract will be signed after completing the necessary procedures.
In December 2022, Southern Province Cement said it expects to sign the contract in the first quarter of 2023.
The new production line is set to replace the existing one, the company said.
