Oman’s Hydrom has started issuing Request for Proposals (RFP) for the first package of two concession blocks in Duqm for green hydrogen projects which opened on 6 November 2022, local news portal WAF Oman has tweeted.

Earlier this month, WAF Oman had reported that around 40 RFQs were issued for the round, which is scheduled for award in the first quarter of 2023.

Four more blocks will be offered by the first quarter of 2023 and are expected to be awarded by the end of 2023, a Zawya Projects report said, quoting WAF Oman.
