Oman’s Finance Ministry, along with various government entities, plans to engage the private sector in the implementation of Public Private Partnership (PPP) projects in the infrastructure and public services field, according to the state budget 2023 statement.

Zawya Project has compiled the list of the PPP projects planned this year.

  • Renal dialysis centres and Al Taafi Suhar centre in the health sector
  • Implement the first phase of school construction in the education sector, which includes 42 schools
  • Salalah-Thumrait truck road in the transport and logistics sector
  • National port community system and development and operation of Invest Easy Platform in the communication and IT sector
  • The development, management and operation of Liwa Fishery Harbour 
  • Construction of the headquarters of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion
  • Construction of buildings for Omani Woman Association in Muscat and Seeb
