China’s trade with Belt and Road partners grew by 20.4 percent year-on-year in the first 11 months of 2022, China Daily newspaper reported, citing State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
Beijing signed Belt and Road cooperation documents with five more countries this year, taking the total number of countries to 150 and international organisations to 32.
“This marks a new high in international economic cooperation and serves as a new engine driving the development of all countries,” Wang said.
China will host the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation next year, the newspaper said, quoting Wang.
The first and second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation were held in 2017 and 2019, respectively, in Beijing.
