· All-new heavy duty truck range specifically developed for Middle East markets
UD Trucks previously known as Nissan Diesel, part of the Volvo Group in association with Rolaco Trading and Contracting Holding, its partner for the distribution of UD Trucks in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for more than forty years, has unveiled a range of trucks specifically built with Middle East customers in mind. The all-new Quester is a multi-purpose truck for a wide variety of applications, including off and on-road use, construction, distribution and long-haul transportation. The launch of the new range marks the largest step to date in UD Trucks' proud history which aims to challenge the truck market in the Middle East.
After years of extensive quality control tests conducted by UD Trucks and the Volvo Group, the Quester range was developed with a Japanese hands-on approach established on a customer perspective. It performs impressively, provides great value and satisfies owners' expectations in every aspect. Quester is built and refined based on insights from customers' day-to-day needs and cutting-edge knowhow gained from UD Trucks' experience in Middle East and the Volvo Group's global footprint.
Commenting on the Quester's arrival to the Middle East, Lars-Erik Forsbergh, President- UD Trucks Middle East said: "We are very excited about the arrival of the Quester range in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. With the new Quester, we have now built on our tradition of reliability and durability, to launch our new customer promise, 'going the extra mile'. I am confident that Quester will be a big game changer for UD Trucks. More than 400 full-time experts from different nationalities, with extensive knowledge and experience, have been involved in designing, developing and validating Quester and its associated services". The team has spent 1,500,000 engineering hours and 65,000 test hours to build the ultimate trucking machine''.
Commenting on the launch of Quester in Saudi Arabia, Sami Al Halabi, Chief Operating Officer of Rolaco Trading and Contracting Holding, said: "We are once again providing a customer adapted solution to our customers in the heavy duty segment with a high quality UD Truck. We are looking forward to exceed our customer's expectation with its performance and the related services Rolaco will provide."
The new Quester range is robust and strong, utilizing a combination of global technology and Japanese craftsmanship. The new range combines the best of three worlds; UD's heritage of Japanese craftsmanship and customer care, Volvo Group's global technology and aftersales know-how, and cost efficiency.
Quester trucks have a lower operating cost than competitors due to longer services intervals and local and regional parts availability.
